The grapes are macerated for several days in an appellation contrôlée (AOP) sweet wine produced in the South-West (the Sauternes region - a subdivision of the Bordeaux vineyards), then coated with a thin layer of 70% pure cocoa butter couverture chocolate. These exceptional ingredients make for an exceptional, unrivalled sweetness. Awarded "Best French Speciality" in 2002, this original creation has made Maison VERDIER famous the world over.
