Elegia

Elégia is a liqueur inspired by the Melifera garden where our immortals grow. A balanced, rich liqueur, it combines the fragrant roundness of immortelle with other notes, sometimes spicy, camphoraceous or resinous, in a harmonious whole, a tribute to the diversity of botanicals. Elégia is made in Charente Maritime from our precious immortelle distillate. These delicate flowers bloom only once a year. In early summer, we harvest them by hand and immerse them in alcohol to retain all their power and delicacy. Elégia is a blend of this distillate with various macerates, infusions and distillates of plants such as angelica, mugwort, rockrose, myrtle, verbena and cinnamon in grain alcohol and sugar. Each bottle of Elégia is unique and handcrafted. Its decoration is individually hand-wrapped around the bottle. As at Le Jardin, the human hand is at the heart of the product, echoing the handiwork that goes on here all year round. It is also the fruit of a fine collaboration with partner companies in the Charente region. 70cl bottle, 20°.
